Great thread! I was wondering last night what was the smallest scale available for rocket models (and airplanes too)? I love small (miniature) things!

For airplane scale models, and I mean decent accurate diecast models, the smallest would be 1/700.

Smallest scale I've encountered where you can find a somewhat decent selection of kits is 1/288 as you have shuttle, Ariane IV (from Heller) and several Russian kits of the Proton and Energia vehicles.

My favorite is the "Man in Space" 1/200 scale Mercury Redstone, Mercury Atlas, Gemini Titan, Saturn 1b and Saturn V. A tough one to find and a fun one to build and display.
