Here is possible 1:32 scale Apollo lunar module due out.
Accurate Models 1/32 LEM

Our first precision attempt to create a miniature solely from computer generated 2D and 3D files. The net result was to have an Apollo era LEM (Lunar Module) worthy of a collector’s dream come true, and capable to mating up with the Monogram 1/32 scale Command/Service Module.

As such, all fine details like the many descent stage legs and ascent stage antennas were grown in wax then cast in metal to create vulcanized molds from, by which to spin cast white metal accessory parts from, assuring durability. The precision riveting and skin wrinkles are all incorporated into the master patterns of the Ascent stage, to be duplicated in the resin castings.

All flown versions were initially planned, but as of date, the Eagle (LM-5) is the most like contender for a probably finish. This project is still on hiatus and is a possible candidate for plastic injection kit creation within the next couple of years.

Okay Steve, can I get my place myself in line now for you to build it once it releases?

I hope they complete both of the Gemini and the LM. Their kits are fantastic.

Unless I'm mistaken, the "hiatus" status of this project hasn't changed in the last year.

On the other hand, their F-1 engine model is superb, so I have no doubt the LM would be fantastic if they ever get around to it.

And if they ever do, the question would be how to accurately represent the "billowy-ness" of the mylar as it actually looked on the LM. Foil just doesn't look right.

Jim Key of Accurate Models posts on the Yahoo! Space Modelers Group. On September 28 he wrote "Don't think I will be offering this [the 1/12 Gemini] or the LM for years."

Oh, I do understand only the LM, not the Gemini.

I'd love to get my hands on a kit of that... I bet it's really expensive though. Maybe the plastic kit would be a better option if they ever get around to doing it.

A plastic version isn't impossible. After all, that's what happened to the Atomic City Mercury. It started as a resin kit, and morphed into an injection molded kit.

Gemini is my favorite program, so I'd love to have a 1/12 Gemini alongside my Mercury.

Please see my posting above from Nov. 20. As Jim Key of Accurate Models wrote about two months ago,

"Don't think I will be offering the 1/12 Gemini or the LM for years."

He has hinted that there could be a mass-produced 1/12 injection molded plastic Gemini (as opposed to the resin version), but there's no definite news.

Those photos of the LM and Gemini prototypes [?] and drawings sure leave me wanting. I really like what Dragon is doing but why make 1/72 M-G-A capsules, when 1/32 and other scales has been really sorely neglected.

Cost. I was taliking with one of the owners of a model business about possibly doing the X-15 as a 1/18th. He has lots of stuff built in China and he says the production cost in China is going up. I heard the cost for the 1/12 Mercury was about $60k, now it would be double that.

Bad news for us modelers but could be good news for the global economy, maybe factories will start considering reopening back in Europe and America.

It will all change when 3D printing starts to become easier to use - which it already is compared to a year or two ago. Soon you'll be able to download a CAD file of whatever you want, and have it "printed" for you.

Jim has updated his thoughts about the 1/12 Gemini:
Hopefully 2012 will be the year that we complete the Gemini kit. To do so will involve a lot of investment and consequently a rather higher than anticipated kit cost.
