What did you use to simulate the lunar soil?

Thanks, it's a mix of real fine sand with concrete grout powder, this give the fine powder moon surface look...

No the basic is a resin kit, but I'm making different poses and more different details to it. But that will you see in other dioramas example the change of the A7L suit to a A7L-B suit...

Here as promised, change of the A7L Apollo suit to a A7L-B suit... I have also made one change to the solar cover / visor, I do not know the good name for this part, but it does give a different look...

I have this model made for somebody in Belgium... and also an astronaut of Alan Bean painting (ski).

Exceptional work, Pascal. May I ask how you applied the reflective gold finish on the visor?

Thanks Dave. The visor contains a 24 carat gold leaf layer, and is applied by a gilder, it is a difficult and craft work. There is also an expensive form, the resin is to edit by Electro Plating, then you get the full 100% mirror image, The only cost for one visor are 100 euros... some people want that to have.

Here a visor astronaut, which is edited by Electro Plating:

Here is the end result of the first of three Apollo LRV micro-dioramas, this one called "Take me for a ride." The base is 5 inches by 5 inches, the weight is 700 grams.

Here is a slideshow of the building process.

The two other are coming later... with another theme.

Here's a new type micro 1/32 EVA diorama , it's a parody of the Apollo 16 flight... the diorama is experiment with transparent epoxy and is nail hard... the line by this diorama is:

"Hello Houston, duck here... We have a big problem ... I have drilled too deep, there is water everywhere and now a huge break in the moon's surface."
