Apparently, Dragon Models is soon re-issuing this model. I have the release from a few years ago depicting Endeavour with the SCA in its current paint scheme. It's a handsome model, but if these photos are accurate, Enterprise's paint pattern is obviously incorrect. |

Are those marking errors (leading edges on the wing, tiles on the tail - anything else? - what about the 747?) make it a even more collectible item? |

The marking errors depend on what version of Enterprise they were trying to replicate: the Approach and Landing Test program version, or the version as went on tour and now appears in the Smithsonian's Udvar-Hazy Center.Personally, I would have desired the markings for the latter, as then the model would represent Enterprise's upcoming final ferry flight. |

I don't think it's a mistake. Looking at my Endeavour model, it just appears to me that Dragon went the cheap/easy route and duplicated their previous 1:400 orbiter models and just changed the name. Even if, as Robert suggests, they were trying to replicate Enterprise's post-ALT markings, it's still not very accurate. |

I haven't seen a B747 SCA with those markings. Are they correct? A previously released version seemed more appropriate. |
