In addition to the ornament, some Hallmark stores now have a Snoopy astronaut available as a plush doll with a tag that states "Peanuts Celebrates NASA's 50 Years". It is really a nice plush doll and is only $14.95. I am not sure how common these are at Hallmark stores across the country. It was only in one of the two stores that I went to in Huntsville.

Thanks for the heads-up Hilary! Like you, I found only one of the area Hallmark stores had the plush in stock:

And though I haven't found it yet, there also appears to be a related salt and pepper shaker:

I finally found the Snoopy plush doll at only one of the Hallmark stores in the Salt Lake Valley. I'm still trying to locate the salt and pepper shakers.

There was only one store in Toledo that had them. The Hallmark franchise store did not and had no idea they were even available. I was told this may be a very small edition popped out by the Hallmark rep.

I found one of the plush dolls at my local Hallmark today... they have just one left if someone needs one.

If you in or near Northeast Ohio, there is a Hallmark store in North Ridgeville that has at least 6 of these in stock right now.

I work at Hallmark and we have the plush space Snoopy amongst others. Maybe the Hallmarks here in the Midwest don't have the traffic that the South and SouthWest has.

Two availability updates:
  1. The plush, along with other astronaut Snoopy products, can now be found in good supply at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex's Space Shop.

  2. The salt and pepper shakers are now on clearance through the What On Earth catalog (thank to Francis French for for the tip!)

I really wish Hallmark would export these items to the UK as the shipping and postage costs are pretty high. Any chance or plans I wonder?

All times are CT (US)
