Being a hard core 'space geek' for many years (aren't we all?), I tend to 'see' space shapes everywhere I go.

One rich source of 'space shapes' for me has been lighting shops. In lampshades I am always 'seeing' Mercury, Gemini and Apollo capsules.

Well, this got me thinking, why not create a lamp using an actual Apollo CM shape? So, I did and the result is:

This is the only commercial product I have seen using space capsule concept, looks nice!

Wow, I like!

The first thing I thought when I saw this was you could get a photo of a crew through the hatch, print it on a color copier onto acetate, and install that in the 'window' section so you'd see them when the light was on...
