Very cool! Looks like you put a lot of work into it. I have to say I envy you guys who do the models. I've got 10 left thumbs! At any rate - good job!

Thanks, all. This was built before I had a chance to decal the hatch. She sits in a Physics professor's office in New York, and Tomas at NewWare has photos of it on his webpage for use as a guide on placing his detail parts.

I'm that physics professor, and I can assure you, it is one beautiful model.

I have bought more than a few of Steve's creations over the years, and I couldn't be more satisfied. It's hard to choose a favorite, but Steve's diorama of Liberty Bell 7, floating in the Atlantic just after the hatch blew, is breathtaking. Then there's the Apollo 11 CSM, and Gemini 7, and the Ares 1, and...

His latest for me is a RealSpace resin N1, and it -- like all the others -- is stunning. If you are interested in exquisitely crafted and detailed scale spacecraft models, Steve Nichols is your man.

Very nice... Did you use the Atomic City Merury kit for the capsule? The water looks very realistic. How do you make the water?

Those long nights of research, and, trial and error building, are finally being able to be shown in the correct forum. All of the models I have shown are long gone, the photographic evidence still exists, I have alot more, so thank you all. The water is Vallejo water effects, and the capsule is Atomic City's, the figure is recast in resin, that vinyl is a nightmare to paint.

These truly are some of the best spacecraft models I have ever seen! Keep up the great work Steve! I love the Apollo 11 LM - brilliant!
