As we are in the middle of the anniversary of the Gemini missions, will someone please improve on the existing models?

I would love to see another accurate large scale spacecraft or the promised Dragon Gemini-Titan in 1/70th scale. Please?

The re-release of the Revell Gemini has some great decals included... not just the UNITED STATES and flags for the spacecraft and the NASA Meatball and Flag for the figures.

The kit has decals for the instrument panels, the red markings on the spacecraft nose, the white stripe that adorns the strip dividing the hatches, and name "plates" for Grissom and Young. A Gemini logo decal also for the base of the stand.

All that being said, the plastic parts of the Gemini crew compartment, molded in white by the way, fit together like crap!

I would love the 1/72 Titan, but knowing Dragon, how inaccurate would it be?

I would have loved to get a repop of the old Revell Gemini astronauts. And who did the Gemini AMU? Aurora? I would really love that kit.

Yes, Aurora did the 'American Astronaut' AMU kit in 1/13 scale. Revell did their first 'Gemini Astronaut' 1/6 scale kit in 1967, then scaled it down to 1/12 scale in 1969 and labeled it 'Astronaut in Space.'

RealSpace has a 1/72 Gemini-Titan and the price is really quite reasonable at $50. You can download printable engines at Thingiverse if you don't like the ones in the kit. The old Revell 1/12 Gemini spacewalker wasn't bad at all. If you feel up to it, you can make a more accurate chest pack. And there's Space Helmet's excellent walking Ed White.

Glenn at RealSpace has recently (2015) improved the 1/72 and 1/144 Gemini Titan kits. The reentry and adapter sections have the most accurate shingle pattern and RCS fairings I've seen. The interstage has the oval blast ports and the blast window structure included. The stage I plumbing and engine bells are much improved as well as the stage II engine bell and aft dome.

For the Mercury, Gemini, Apollo set in 1/72, the Mercury shingles, retro, and nose sections are improved. The Gemini has the bolt fairings on the rear adapter removed and comes with three different nose caps. The Apollo SM Block II SPS heatshield is also very much improved.

The Mercury improvements (porthole and window) have also carried over to the Redstone and Atlas versions. The separation clamp and Atlas adapter look really good.

Here is a the photo album I created.

I have built this model for the 50th anniversary. It uses the RealSpace model of the ADTA and a Revell Gemini with the RealSpace upgrade kit. This is a particularity special project for me, as seeing the pictures of the Angry Alligator on TV is the first memory I have of the space program.

Very nice work, the 1/48 Gemini is a great build. I forgot that this was the intended mission of Gemini 9. Also trying out the MMU.

Thanks for the comments on my Gemini 9 models. Now I have finished a Gemini IV model, from the old Revell kit of "Astronaut in Space". I kept it rather simple even though I added a few details, like a new umbilical and connector made of a brass tube wrapped in gold foil and plastic tube. The fun part was painting. I used Ivory for the space suit base color. I then sprayed pearlescent white on top of that. I tried to capture the off-white metallic look of Gemini spacesuits I see in photo.

I just ordered the Dragon 1/72 Gemini with Spacewalker kit, no. 11013. Does anyone know of any 1/72 detail kits for the Gemini?
