This is a fantastic sculpture but they don't mention the size of the piece. Does anyone know what is the scale?Pierre-Yves |

I called the Mint and they said they have them in stock. I placed an order for one and they said I should have it in 3 to 4 weeks. Mike Myer

I've had mine for little over two months. The actual size is 11" tall x 14" long x 7" wide. The newspaper measures 9 1/2" x 11". It's an outstanding piece. It really looks fantastic. Take care. |

I echo the previous posts about how great a piece this is. I've had mine for several months now and still enjoy looking at the detail. It is now the showpiece of the bookcase in my living room. You won't find a more accurate sculpture of the Apollo astronauts. It reminds me of how I felt when "Buck" and "Buzz" were released and I was used to G.I. Joe-style figures. If you don't pick one of these up, you're missing out on a great deal. |

I also have had the Danbury Mint's "One Small Step" for about 2 months, and have to agree, this is a fantastic piece. You won't be disappointed in it. |

Does anyone know if this piece is a limited addition and if so how many pieces were made? I agree that the background might be a nice place for an Earthrise photo or maybe a photo of a lunar lander. Antares in Sunlight maybe? I know it is not Apollo 11 but it is still a neat photo.Mike Myer |

If the figures are as impressive as they appear in the illustration above then they are arguably the finest commercially made models I have seen. The detail, proportions, colouring look superb... and as of 2 hours ago, Danbury still have them in stock. I have ordered one for sure. |

Took delivery today of my Danbury Apollo 11 commemorative piece today. Not too sure about the rather "cramped" display over all but the detail on the suits is outstanding. They have really captured a feel for the suit fabric and flag texture... |

Wow! I received "One Small Step" today and it is fabulous! (and I'm a picky guy!) - the best thing about the figurine is that you can remove the newspaper part of the figure and display Neil, Buzz and the flag on the moon without a backdrop! Super detail, great price too! You can even read the astronauts names clearly on the front oxygen control box on the suits! I ordered it 10 days ago. |

Received mine today and it was definitely worth the wait, had to pay Import Duty but that is fine as it was worth it.Now all I have to do is make a display case for it. |

I've had one of these "One Small Step for Man" sculptures now for a couple of years. I was curious as to whether Danbury Mint items retain much of their value. Not that I want to sale, but is there much of a secondary market for these collectibles? Any feedback is appreciated. |
