LEGO launches 'Moments in Space' design contest, seeks small space set ideas

LEGO is seeking ideas on how to give away some space.

The Denmark-based toy company has launched its "LEGO Moments in Space" design contest to find a small space exploration-themed set to become a promotional "gift with purchase" giveaway for its stores and Legoland in 2019.

"So put on your space helmets, remember your creative juices and buckle up... we're going for a ride as we look for your best LEGO Moments in Space," LEGO announced on Monday (Jan. 15).

From LEGO Ideas:
The LEGO Moments in Space contest has today progressed to the next and final stage, as the top 25 entries as voted upon by the LEGO Ideas community have now been advanced to the judging phase.

Our panel of judges made up of representatives from the LEGO Group now have the incredibly tough task ahead of them of finding 1 Grand Prize winner, whose model will be turned into a Gift with Purchase set launching in 2019, as well as 10 Runner Up winners!

We can't wait to reveal the winners on the 2nd of March. At this time we will also be revealing the results of the voting, which in itself will be very interesting to see.
