I haven't seen a lot of posts regarding plastic modeling, but thought I'd drop a quick note regarding ths subject if anyone else is interested.

Just finished putting together Dragon Model's Shenzhou 5 rocket. This thing stands a good four feet tall! If you are familar with Revell Germany's large scale Saturn V, they are comperable in size with the Shenzhou having almost 2 inches on it. The instructions were not the most accurate in the world, with a number of undocumented modifications required to get things fitting properly. A bit frustrating, but nothing too tricky.

Overall I'm real happy with the way it came out. If you are looking for a large scale version of Shenzhou 5 this is the one for you.

Now off to Atomic Model's Mercury Capsule.

Where can one get this model - I did a search and could not find it!

I purchased it about a year ago at local hobby shop in Long Island. I was recently there and they no longer have it in stock. In the past Squadron Mail Order had them in stock, but a recent check of their website doesn't pull it up. Sometimes I find giving them a call is a better option as their website does not always provide the most accurate info. Last you might want to contact Dragon models via their website at www.dragonmodelsusa.com.

Your best bet is ebay's space models section. You can get it for about $10-15 there.

Realspacemodels.com also sells resin kits of the CZ-2F rocket and Shenzhou.
