The Biloxi Shuckers, a Minor League Baseball team, will host an Apollo 13 50th Anniversary night on June 20, 2020 at MGM Park in Biloxi, Mississippi. The first 1,000 fans will receive a bobblehead of Biloxi's own Fred Haise, the Lunar Module pilot for the Apollo 13 crew. Presented By Keesler Federal Credit Union. The game will also feature special player jerseys: The Shuckers celebrate the 50th anniversary of Apollo 13 with special Apollo 13 Flight suit jerseys. An auction for the game-worn jerseys will take place, with winners receiving their jersey from players after the game.

Do they think the game will be played? I have not seen anything saying large gatherings will be allowed in June. |

The game, originally scheduled for Saturday (June 20), has been postponed. A new date has not yet been set. |

A year later and the event has been rescheduled. From the Infinity Science Center: INFINITY Science Center is partnering with Biloxi Shuckers on July 31st for a fundraiser benefiting INFINITY! $5 of every ticket sold will go back to support INFINITY. Fred Haise will be throwing the first pitch! The first 1,000 fans will receive a FREE Fred Haise bobblehead. Players will be wearing specialty jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and First Pitch is at 6:35 p.m. Directions to purchase tickets:  |
