I have been keeping an eye on eBay [in 2009] in the hopes of picking up one of the STS-68 flown U.S. Express Mail stamps, but I haven't seen one. I was under the impression that 500,000 were out there so I'm surprised I haven't been able to find one. Are these more difficult to find than the STS-8 cover (which I see all time time)? |

I ordered one of those, unsigned, from USPS when they first came out. My check was cashed, but I never received it. I finally gave up. |

New to my collection: The famous "Tribute to Space Exploration" cover with its flown 9.95$ stamp flown on the STS-68.
I know it's just a stamp and it is not rare but to know that it was in space aboard the space shuttle Endeavour makes it very special for me. I was quite impressed as well by the overall quality of the cover. Nice printing, good colors, and a lot of informations in the certificate of authenticity. Most of the flown items are way too expensive for me so I am happy we can find cheap items like that. So far I have this stamp and the STS-8 cover, not sure I will have much more in this part of my space collection. |

Great addition to your collection and if it's priceless to you and your collection, that's what matters! | |
