The Apollo Lunar Surface Journal hosts a partial collection of Apollo command and lunar module stowage lists, courtesy the NASA Johnson Space Center history archives at University of Houston-Clear Lake. Most of the documents are "As Flown," with a few earlier revisions. The ALSJ also has a lunar rover stowage list for Apollo 15. |

I tracked down an LM flown item via the Apollo Stowage Lists and found out that it's stowage location in the LM was:RHSSC I did not find a list of acronyms at the start of the stowage list. Does anyone have any idea what the acronym stands for? Thank you! |

Through the efforts of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, the Smithsonian Transcription Center and the Apollo Flight Journal, the Apollo 11 Stowage List is now available as a searchable document (PDF). From Allan Needell, curator emeritus at the National Air and Space Museum: At the time of each Apollo mission launch, NASA prepared a set of printed "as flown" stowage lists to document what items were to be stored on the spacecraft (both the Command Module and Lunar Module), which items were to be transferred from one to another before landing and after rendezvous in lunar orbit following the successful landing. Scanned copies of these typed lists have long been available on line. In 2015 a project to create a fully searchable version was undertaken by the Smithsonian Institution's Transcription Center in order to make the list more useful to the NASM curatorial staff and to the public. The following searchable pdf file of the Apollo 11 storage was created from that effort. Thanks to the Transcription Center and to Ulli Lotzmann, Ken Glover, and John Pfannerstill who assisted in the review of the volunteer transcriptions. Use is subject to the Smithsonian Terms of Use policy. Additional Apollo missions' stowage lists are expected to become available soon. |

A complete set of printed stowage lists, including revisions lists, from the Apollo 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, and 17 missions is now available online from the National Air and Space Museum Archives. Besides scans of the printed list from NASA, the online collection at long last also includes fully searchable pdf files of the lists created in 2019 by a special project initiated by the National Air and Space Museum's Department of Space History and executed by the Smithsonian’s Transcription Center 2015-2018. ------------------ Allan Needell Space History Division National Air and Space Museum |

Does anyone have a link for the Apollo 9 stowage list? I am specifically looking for the page showing the four synchronised cameras and magazines that were carried on board for the multispectral earth resources survey experiment. Any help gratefully received. |
