There is a document that was flown on the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project mission, called "HP-65 Rendezvous Targeting Checklist." The document as published is available online, but the actual flown document was apparently retained by Deke Slayton -- he's the crew member who was assigned the task of running the rendezvous calculations on the HP-65. Th original document was sold in 2006 at a Regency-Superior space memorabilia auction. According to the auction description, it "had previously been on loan to the Astronaut Hall of Fame in Titusville, FL and the Air and Space Museum in Huntsville, AL."
In the course of running the calculations, Slayton was supposed to write down the inputs and outputs in forms provided in the checklist. As part of my research on how the HP-65 was used during the flight, I'm seeking images of the checklist pages that contain Slayton's notations.
I'm hoping that someone here might have photographs of the checklist pages with Slayton's notations from when it was on loan to one of those institutions, and that they would be willing to share these images with me. Alternatively, if someone here knows the current owner, and would let said owner know of my interest in obtaining images of those pages, that would also be immensely helpful. I'm only interested in the pages containing Slayton's notes. Identities will remain confidential, if so desired.
I can be contacted through my email address (as available on this forum) or by using the feedback form at the bottom of the web page documenting the current state of my research.
Any help would be appreciated!
