I purchased a Rocketdyne closure cover a couple of years ago but do not know anything about it. The cover is 6 inches in diameter. Can anyone provide me with more information about this cover? Is it possible to say which model rocket engine it went with?

There is probably over a hundred different types of covers like that Rocketdyne used over the years. I have a few covers as well and would like to know more about what port on what engine they were used on. I'm sure there is some documentation in some ex-Rocketdyne employee's file, but I have not been successful in finding it. |

Yeah, I thought it might be difficult. I was prompted to post this query after seeing an eBay listing (301517042452) for a similar (smaller) cover, which the seller claimed was from a Saturn F-1 engine. The listing included technical drawings to support this claim. |

The seller mis-identified the cover's application ..it was the "-11" variant (of 20058) that saw use on the F-1 engine. |
