I have been looking for additional information regarding the Saturn V gold reflective material attached to this certificate of appreciation. What exactly was this material used for? It almost looks like kapton; was it some kind of wire bundle insulation? Might anyone know how many of these presentations were created and were they given to Apollo 16 space workers at all NASA centers or just certain ones? I plan to soon part with it but am having difficulty as to a fair value. The signatures of the crew are of course printed. |

I would also be interested in any info on these displays. I bought one last year for just under $100 and have been unable to find any further info on these. They seem to be relatively rare. | |
