Regarding The Cernan Corp. lucites with flown Apollo 17 Kapton, does anyone know how many were produced and when they were released? Were they made available for purchase to the general public or were they given away to members or dignitaries etc.?

Many thanks for all your help on this subject. I just found one but it did not come with any paperwork or box.

Mine came with the original box and "paperwork". It was just a slip of paper that said how to take care of the acrylic I think. The box was red and was a little beat up since they are a little old.

It is a smaller acrylic compared to the others I have. Still stunning and very nice. I too am interested on anyone that can shed more light on these! Thanks.
