I recently bought a "1980's" shuttle workers coveralls. I was looking for info on what type of coverall was used at that time.

The item is blue made by Flight Suits Ltd. of El Cajon, CA. It is 100% nomex except for the velcro. It has a shuttle program patch on the right shoulder, an American flag patch on the left.

It has a round NASA program vector type VI patch on the right chest and a blue velcro strip where a name tag probably was. It also has a blue velcro round area below the meatball patch where a mission patch(?) might have bee.

Blue velcro fasteners at the wrists and over the pockets. Zipper pockets near the bottom of the legs and zippers on the end of the legs.

Looking through other posts, I found this post which warned about this suit 330868483431 which just coincidentally happens to be the same as I bought. I guess the buyer on eBay turned around and put it in an auction. It went for less then he paid for it ($50) so I guess I am out the money.
