I'm looking for some help from former space shuttle program design engineers or perhaps any retired Rockwell space staff who would know what these engineering prototypes are for the earlier iterations of the OV-99(?) OV-101(?) landing gear assembly.

The parts are made of some gray resin/dense plastic-polymer type substance I haven't been able to identify. Nearly every part I have is marked "engineering test" which seems appropriate since this material isn't flight grade. There are sensor contacts with wires still attached for collecting data of some sort.

If anyone knows what this substance is called or any additional history on this phase of the orbiter production cycle, I'd appreciate knowing.

All times are CT (US)
