Although I've had one of these for a few years now I still don't know how the Saturn V's quick release pins were used exactly. Can someone explain please?

Do you mean the S-IC soft release rods (aka slow release mechanism)?

Not sure, they have a reference number on them. At work at the moment but will post the number and details when I get home if it helps?

Ok, it has a spare parts number of NAS1335S2S24D. It is 4" long and is T-shaped at one end with a small ball-bearing in its centre at the other. I imagine it must be GSE.

By virtue of being only 4" long, we are talking about different items.

All times are CT (US)
