Did NASA ever make a difference on their presentations given out at the time or shortly after the Apollo program between a lunar surface flown artifact and an orbital flown one? Most presentations say "flown to the moon" which I believe is orbit-flown then.

I have a NASA issued Apollo 14 Flown Lunar Safety Line laminated card. It reads "This small portion of the lunar surface safety line was carried by the astronauts on the moon's surface February 5-6, 1971".

All times are CT (US)
