I would assume, based on the way they were constructed, that the major sub-assemblies (Forward skirt, tank, intertank, aft skirt/thrust structure) might have a plate identifying the stage of which they were a part. Furthermore, did Boeing, North American, and Douglas each have different locations and internal numbering systems for their ID plates? If it were a Telecaster, I'd just look on the headstock; or pull the transformer codes if it were an amp. Alas, rockets are different than guitars. (Which would be a great t-shirt.) Thanks in advance.

I suspect somebody from Boeing or NAA may even have a "spare" ID plate from back in the day. Would make a unique display!
