The small, sequined dinosaur doll serving as the zero-g indicator aboard SpaceX's Crew Dragon for the Demo-2 mission, taking up the seat to the right of Bob Behnken, has been identified as "Tremor" from the Ty Flippables line of plushies.  |

Soon after boarding the Crew Dragon during the launch attempt on Wednesday (May 27), Bob Behnken gave the doll a pat on its head: Ty's Tremor was introduced in June 2018 (photo credit Ty).  |

Can anyone tell me which version/size of Tremor was used? Looking around online I'm seeing both the regular (6" tall) and medium versions being claimed on twitter. |

From a public relations and just plain fun standpoint this seems like a fun thing to do and a great way to engage kids with the program. From an engineering standpoint all those small sequins look like a FOD nightmare. |

I was confused by this too, but after looking at the footage and the relative size of the doll to the astronauts' hands, it appears the "regular" size Tremor was flown. The medium size is considerably larger. |

Ty has added Tremor back to its website and is now advertising it as being in space. As of Monday (June 8), the doll is (again) sold out.
