I am the proud owner of a Shuttle HMU 438 Cable Assembly. Can anyone help me with what the "HMU 438" stands for? And where this would have been located on the Shuttle? Thanks for any help. Paul |

Paul..the tag data hopefully will provide some additional context when you receive the item...the NASA Acronym list http://www.ksc.nasa.gov/facts/acronyms.html shows HMU as "HARDWARE MOCK-UP", HMU is also a relatively common acronym for hydro-mechanical unit ..Congrats on your new acquisition ------------------ Scott Schneeweis URL http://www.SPACEAHOLIC.com/ | |
