I was wondering if anyone else saw the recent Antique Road Show in Florida? They highlighted a women whose husband worked at the Cape where he had been given two Mercury training gloves. She showed the two Mercury training Gloves with Glenn and Schirra names inside the gloves. The expert put an insurance value on the gloves at $30,000 dollars. Given the prices of similar gloves that have sold at auction lately that seemed high. Anyone else have an opinion? Paul

I think that's the third time that I've seen that episode.
Remember, the appraiser said INSURANCE value, not resale value. [case in point: I had a flood at my house this summer. There was a brief worry that my Alan Bean original wasn't safe. After I thought about what it was INSURED for, it was tempting to toss it in the water. Alan got a very good laugh out of that].
I still think they underestimated Robert's Who's Who in Space on an earlier episode from NY.
