Thanks,

I don't know exactly, but I have one number in the high 3000s, and one numbered just over 5000... So that should have establish the brackets.

Since I am the originator of these plaques, I can tell you that 5,000 plaques were sold to the Home Shopping Network back in 1989. Approximately another 500 were sold elsewhere. There are two types of plaques, those with the information screened printed on the plastic and those where the information is on stickers applied to the plaque. Roughly 5,100 plaques were screen printed.

There are probably 400 of the loose vials out there.

Thanks. I'm surprised, I always thought the wooden plaques were the rarer one since they don't appear often and go for a good fetching.

Is there any difference between those vials put behind the plastic or those lose?

I have one of the 400 loose ones. They came in a small plastic bag and an 8 1/2 x 11 paper titled: 'National Bureau of Standards Certificate' which talks about the process of how they were made. However, there are NO serial numbers at all either on the loose vial or the Certificate. I hope this helps

There is no difference in the vials I the plaque and the loose vials. The Polystyrene spheres came from the same master vial.
