The Gus Grissom Boyhood Home Museum in Mitchell, Indiana is now offering a commemorative medallion honoring the 50th anniversary of the Gemini-Titan 3 mission. It is limited to just 100 minted.

All coins are sequentially numbered. Included in this package is one coin and an original shingle from the home of Gus Grissom. Both come with their own certificate of authenticity.

The CoA will have a special seal on them showing they are authentic. Each CoA will have the number thay matches the number on your coin.

The medallion and shingle set is priced at $100. Orders can be placed through the museum's Facebook page or via email.

There are still some of the 50th Anniversary coins for the Molly Brown flight. Virgil I Grissom Memorial, Inc is selling them for $35. All proceeds go to keep Gus's house up and running as a museum. If you are interested email the home.

These really are fantastic coins... more aptly a large medallion. Roughly the size of the recent space shuttle medal with flown material from each orbiter and quite hefty.

I received mine from the museum and it came with a display stand as well as a COA signed by Steve Grissom and the Mayor of Mitchell, IN.

It's a unique shape, and looks great alongside my flown LB 7 lucites.

Thanks to Steve for a nice commemorative.

Wow! What a spectacular medallion! I'm glad that I decided to purchase one! I'm sure it would look great with Tim's commemorative patch.

I echo the comments of the others who have received this medallion. I just received mine today. It is a beautiful piece. I especially like the reverse. The home still has a few available and if you collect space coins/medallions, this should be a must have.

Just bought this medallion from the museum. If it is indeed limited to 100, mine is #95. $20 plus shipping.
