As you know, none of the Fliteline medallions were numbered, and as time goes by, the population of these medallions will be lost, if it hasn't happened already. Does anyone have any information about the Fliteline medallions, and the break down of silver and gold for each mission? |

I have been attempting to do some research on the so called Fliteline Medals, and would like to recruit some help and make it a community effort. I would like anyone who has a Gemini Fliteline medal G3 through G12 to compare and confirm the following characteristics that I have so far observed. There seem to be silver color medals, sterling silver medals, gold plated sterling medals and gold colored medals. The following medals I have observed with the STERLING quality mark in both silver and gold plated silver: G3, G4, G5, G9, G11.I would like confirmation of any of these medals that are NOT marked with the STERLING quality mark. The following medals I have observed have NO STERLING mark and have been seen in a silver colored metal and a gold colored metal: G6, G7, G8, G10, G12. I would like confirmation of any of these medals that DO HAVE the STERLING quality mark. We have to start somewhere. | |
