Author Topic:   Identifying an Apollo medal's mint Orthon Member Posts: 144 From: San Tan Valley, Arizona 85143 Registered: May 2002 posted 06-01-2008 05:10 PM                I have a silver 2" coin with the three Apollo 1 astronauts on one side with their names and the date of the fire. On the other side is a picture of a Saturn rocket surrounded by flames and the the words "The conquest of space is worth the risk of life" on the back. I've had it since the late 60's. Does anyone know who issued this and it's worth today?
