T O P I C R E V I E WApollo-SoyuzI am going to hold Space Unit meetings at the NAPEX and BALPEX shows. Details to be worked out. I wanted to let you know now so one can start planning to attend. Meetings are opened to all collectors of space covers, stamps etc. Details will be forthcoming. Dennis Dillman and Vice President, John Macco received Napex Silver awards for their exhibits on Project Mercury and ASTP. Various topics were discussed among them the search for an Astrophile Editor. our guest speaker, Rear Admiral Carl Seiberlich who was Commanding officer of the Prime Apollo-11 & 12 Recovery ship USS Hornet (CVS-12). He told various stories of his naval career as well as his participation in the recoveries of Apollo-11 & 12. A very interesting participant in the U.S. space program. Next Space Unit meeting will be at Balpex labor day weekend.
