Space Center Houston hosts Gene Kranz to kick off Walkway to the Stars

Space Center Houston, the official visitors center for NASA's Johnson Space Center and legendary flight director Gene Kranz hosted the official launch of the Walkway to the Stars commemorative brick program on Tuesday, Dec. 21.

Surrounded by an audience of brick owners and visitors, Kranz spoke briefly about the history of the space program and importance of inspiring the next generation of explorers. He then joined Space Center Houston CEO and President Richard Allen to reveal the first 100 bricks installed in the Grand Plaza.
