This weekend, I was in Indianapolis with the family.
We stopped in at the Children's Museum to see the Dinsophere exhibit (a wonderful, well done display, by the way)much to the delight of my 5 year old son.
And much to MY surprise and delight, they have Indiana astronaut David Wolf's Sokol suit (from trip to MIR) on display. By the looks of it, it is his flown suit.
A very nice surprise -- wasn't expecting it. They also have a flown poster, also taken on MIR, that contains the autographs of all the employees at the Children's Museum.
And while that's about it for space items on display, if you're ever there, stop in and take a look. Parkings free, and the other exhibits are a hoot for the kids. We spent about 5 hours there.
PS: they also have one of Christopher Reeve's screen worn red Superman capes, and a nice little tribute display right next to their massive glass water clock in the main lobby. It always had a nice, reverent crowd around it.
