It looks to be a period artifact, as Apollo 13 is mentioned in future tense (and the price is given as 65 cents). I think EP stands for Educational Publication.</TD></TR><TR bgcolor="#494949"><TD valign=top>Blackarrow</TD><TD>There's one booklet missing from the above list: "Log of Apollo 11" (EP-72). I would suggest that it's the "real" Apollo 11 publication out of this list. EP-73 is a departure from the format of the other Apollo booklets. It's an illustrated transcript of the post-mission press conference (which I remember watching live by satellite on our neighbours' colour TV while they were on holiday.) Both are excellent, in fact the whole set is a wonderful evocation of the glory days of Apollo. The Apollo 8 booklet is arguably the best and most detailed.</TD></TR><TR bgcolor="#333333"><TD valign=top>LM-12</TD><TD>There is also a large booklet simply called "Apollo" (EP-100). On the cover is an Apollo 17 photo of Gene Cernan holding the flag with the Earth in the background.Did anybody get a booklet autographed? </TD></TR><TR bgcolor="#494949"><TD valign=top>onesmallstep</TD><TD>I can remember, in those pre-internet (and cS) days, eagerly awaiting the publication of all of those booklets from NASA. You did get a lot of information from newspapers and magazines during the flights, but it was still impressive to see the full color pictures printed along with a report of the mission.</TD></TR><TR bgcolor="#333333"><TD valign=top>LM-12</TD><TD>In EP-76, there is a nice photo of the Apollo 13 astronauts leaving the crew transfer van at Pad 39A on launch day. I do not recall seeing that photo anywhere else.
