| jisaias0308 | Hi everyone. This is my first post in the forum. I have always had a particular interest on Apollo hardware, but it is expensive and ensuring its authenticity can be difficult. Are these items offered on eBay authentic Apollo spare parts? Thanks in advance for your opinion. |
| lspooz | Great price, and while 'no returns' since quotes guaranteed Apollo you should be able to dispute/refund thru Paypal if 'not as advertised' Go for it! |
| dragon001 | The numbers appear to be correct for Apollo Cleanliness. A quick Google of the SPEC 46652 showed this archives page from NASA. |
| jisaias0308 | Thank you very much dragon001. This document is a really useful reference. It actually relates this type of spare parts to the Apollo Service Module Engine. |
| Tykeanaut | Can I also suggest you have a look at David Bryant's UK based "The Space Station"? I know that one of his listings contains Apollo spare parts beautifully presented in an ash frame. |
| dragon001 | Thought you'd appreciate the relation to the Module! |

Thanks Tykeanaut for reminding me of David’s site. I have already bought several of his lovely presentations in the past (my favourites ones are his Space Shuttle collections, with sizable hardware parts, instead of the customary mini fragments that seems to be the norm these days). Highly recommendable. |
| SpaceAholic | Cleanliness specifications can apply not only to flight hardware but also the ground support equipment which are designated to come into contact with the flight article (necessary to prevent contamination). |
