T O P I C R E V I E WDGeraths38 years ago today Nasa, and the world, lost three heroes. Take a moment sometime today to hold a glass up to the three gentlemen who lost their lives while in pursuit of a dream. These men are more than astronauts... they are the very symbol of the sacrifices made to put man on the Moon. Their bravery is not only something to admire, it is something that we all should strive to emulate. Remember them this day... and never forget. To me, it's become a "week of remembrance", which I try to utilize as a positive thing (like writing to elected officials about supporting various space missions and initiatives, volunteering at local schools to talk to kids about space exploration and to share my photo collection, etc.). I know these things helps me get through this period and it helps further the cause that these brave people gave their lives for. Best,BrucecarmeloGodspeed Gus,Ed,and Roger.
