He is being transferred as the program has wound down. Apparently they were cleaning up and tossing out some un-documented scraps. He knows I'm a big fan and 'rescued' some pieces for me. While its not 'officially' documented, he sent along a nice note with a detailed description of the goodies. He also included a copy of the drawing specs for the pieces. <P>This is a piece of an SRB parachute that he says has flown at least once. The soot marks are from the SRB nozzle pyro seperation. The fact there is a repair with the soot marks, he believes it has flown at least twice. <P>He didn't say any more about this piece. I really don't care that there is no further documentation.
