T O P I C R E V I E WRobert PearlmanThe production company behind the primetime Channel 4 (UK) TV series Four Rooms is seeking a space-related item to sell on an upcoming episode. The programme is about the buying and selling of fascinating objects, from antiques through to the thoroughly modern. Last series we featured a Francis Bacon painting, a Banksy wall and even a Concorde Nose Cone that sold for £55,000 amongst others and it would be fantastic to build on this calibre with the next series which we are now working on. One of our top wish list categories this series would be a space related item – it would be incredible if we could get people talking by featuring something like a space rocket or space engine! To apply, email a photo and description to fourrooms@talkbackthames.tv. The show's senior researcher Jo McDiarmid has been in touch with (as well as with some of our readers and members). Please mention collectSPACE if you decide to contact the show. skippy in spaceThe first space item, a prototype Mercury spacesuit appeared on the show tonight.Seller said he paid $2K at auction in 2005, wasn't offered anything near this.
