The U.S. Air Force said today that it will develop an unmanned, long-duration, reusable space plane that is based on the X-37 demonstrator that was largely developed at Boeing's Seal Beach and Huntington Beach plants. Plans tentatively call for launching an OTV aboard an Atlas V rocket from Cape Canaveral, Fla, in 2008.
