T O P I C R E V I E WstsmithvaPlease let me know if you would like to purchase any of these autographs. Shipping is $6 for Priority Mail with tracking. If you would like insurance, that would be a bit more.Gus Grissom – Signed black and white photo on book stock paper; with Steve Zarelli LOA. Because of the paper stock and a staple hole, it's not as nice as this copy of the same photo that sold two years ago for $2962... but it's still quite nice! – $1350. I have another Grissom SP available. It is also not inscribed. An 8"x10" print of this photo (taken right after his Mercury splashdown) sold at auction for $2,404. However, I have the 4"x5", one of which has sold for $763. Mine has a couple of bends/creases at the top right which I think are visible in the scan. It's also not his full "Virgil" signature. Hence the price of $625. [ON EDIT: $525] SOLD Edward H. White II - NASA letter, mailed just months after his Gemini IV space walk... but in amazingly poor condition. It's wrinkled and stained light pink from water damage, with fold separation. It would frame nicely (with the lower third behind the matting) with a print of his Gemini IV space walk. One of the major auction houses has sold six TLS's of his in the last three years, from $519 to $2646. But of course they were all in better condition than this one, so let's say $295. [ON EDIT: $195 SOLD] (I'll include a scan of the interesting signed birth announcement he mentions in the letter.) Roger Chaffee - Signed 1962 postal cover as described and shown on this recent cS post, but now with a lower price.stsmithvaSOLD Neil Armstrong – TLS dated September 5, 1996 (after he stopped granting autograph requests) turning down an invitation to speak to a society in Canada. Nice blue ballpoint pen signature. (I have blurred out the name and address of the recipient on this scan, but of course the original is untouched.) On Armstrong's letter head, just like this one which sold for $1,440 in 2010, but with a nicer signature, in better condition, and with the original mailing envelope from Armstrong with a 1996 postmark. – (Other Armstrong letters, even without space content, have sold for hundreds more.) – $1250 [Now $1050] SOLDstsmithvaSOLD Mike Collins - Signed WSS NASA litho, not inscribed. $250. SOLDSOLD Buzz Aldrin – Signed postal cover with Apollo 11 cachet. $195 [Now $150. Postal covers signed by Aldrin are much more rare than signed photos - one sold just a couple of months ago at auction for $316.] SOLD stsmithvaI have lowered the prices on all of the above items by 20% to 40%. Nice items for bargain prices compared to what one would spend at auction.Keith BarberDo you still have the Armstrong please?
