I am with the Denver Space Society. We are a chapter of the National Space Society. We recently had our 2012 Colorado Space Day. This is an event with speakers that we generally have each year. This year's event included astronaut Robert Stewart.
We are thinking of making the logo we had for this event into a patch. I will give you a description of the logo. Later when I can get with our chapter president, we will put up the artwork.
The logo is basically like your typical space mission patch. It is 4 inch size, with a design in the middle and a ring with wording on the outside. The interior design is black with two white lines shaped like mountain peaks. There is a yellow streak representing a trail of a vehicle streaking into space. The streak leaves and extends out from the upper right side of the patch.
The outer ring is blue with red trim around it and wording "COLORADO SPACE DAY 2012" around the top and "DENVER SPACE SOCIETY" around the bottom.
We would be getting the patches made by AB Emblem. They will be $5 each including postage. We will try to get artwork up soon.
Please let me know if you would be interested in one of these patches, so we can see how much interest there is.
