T O P I C R E V I E WJoe DaviesDear CollectorsWe are delighted to announce the launch of our new acrylic:"one giant leap" celebrates the two most significant flights in human history - the first powered flight by the Wright Brothers in 1903, and Apollo 11 - the first flight to land a man upon the moon in 1969.You may view a webpage with information and images of this acrylic by clicking here http://www.historicspace.com/oglacrylic.htm This year sees the centenary of that first flight by the Wright Brothers, and it has long been our desire to produce a memorable presentation celebrating this historic event. We believe this "marriage" of artifacts from these two most important flights is a unique offering to aviation and space collectors. We have a very limited number of these acrylics available and are offering them at a special introductory price.Joe DaviesHistoric Space www.historicspace.com PS Two weeks ago, British Television broadcasted a 50 minute documentary called "Days That Shook The World" that showed archive footage and re-enactments of the two most important days in history of manned flight: the Wright Brothers first flight and the Apollo 11 moonlanding! We had no prior knowledge of this TV program, and it is quite gratifying to see that our viewpoint of the historical importance of the pairing of these two flights is shared elsewhere!Joe DaviesJust an update to my announcement of a few days ago. I only have two of these acrylics left available for purchase, so if you have been thinking about one and have been undecided, now would be a good time to make that decision!
