| ASCAN1984 | I was just wondering if anyone has ordered from charlieduke.net and if so how did it go? |
| Rick Mulheirn | I sent stuff to Charlie long before he set his own website up. He is a class act. A pleasure to do business with. |
| ASCAN1984 | That's what I thought. Am going to order from him now. Thanks for your input. Kind of sucks having to pay for an autograph but it is worth it. |
| cddfspace | General Duke is very kind. I have ordered two times from him - both times he actually called (I include my phone number in case of issues). First time, they misplaced my request and he was calling to see if I was still interested - we spoke for about 30 minutes. Second time (about a year later) he called to confirm location of a quote I was asking him to write on the photo (another nice conversation). You will be very happy ordering through him. Good luck! |
| spaceman1953 | "Hello, this is Charlie Duke". MY cardiologist would be out of business! |

I'm not going to be a name dropper, but it was pretty funny about 10-12 years ago. My secretary came in my office with this odd look on her face. "Hey, some guy named – wants to talk to you on the phone." She had no idea who he was.And that reminds me of another time my now ex-bro-in-law asked me, "So Russ, what does the Space Shuttle do? Just go back and forth to the moon?" He was serious. |
| dave sixsmith | Charlie's a number one guy always a pleasure. My first trip to the states way back in 83 he invited me to his house and he and Dotty took me to lunch. Man... you should see the stuff he had on his walls including his beta cloth patches and thank you inscription on a photo from the Apollo 11 crew, wow!!! And then there were the maps they used on the EVAs. In the same week I went to the Coors distribution warehouse in Deerpark Texas and met Al Shepard. Just wish I had taken some 16x20 to get signed!! He supplied me with some free samples... thanks Al. |
| ASCAN1984 | Ordered and my autograph arrived last week. Can't tell you how happy I am. Terrific. Would recommend to anyone. Cool inscription. A class act. |
| SpaceSteve | I ordered an 8x10 "Plum Crater" photo from General Duke's website on Jan 28th. I got it in the mail today and it is absolutely perfect! |
| CPCM | I had a Moonpan signed and it look less than 2 weeks. A class act. |
| nojnj | Absolutely great! I ordered the Lunar Tribute and the two DVDs. They arrived in less than two weeks. They were all personalized. "The Walk With The Son" DVD is truly inspirational. Great items and a wonderful price! |
| Torsten | Just a short update, as this topic hasn't been updated a while... Charlie is a very nice guy, he even sends e-mails and signs a custom declaration himself. I got a very nice autograph. Shipped after two weeks, arrived in Germany after two additional weeks (maybe due to German customs). A great addition to my little collection! |
| gnewt | Just wanted to add that I sent a prints to Charlie Duke from my current home in Brazil. He signed it with a unique inscription and returned the image to my permanent residence back in the U.S. He is a very gracious signer and returned emails themselves. A Wonderful man and a great signing experience! Very glad to hear that your experience went well too. |
| Mr. Apollo 17 | I sent a photo to Gen. Duke about 3-4 weeks ago and got it back autographed yesterday. Very great guy. He, John Glenn, and Gene Cernan all are great signers. Very happy! |
| cycleroadie | General Duke signed / shipped a picture to me, personalized to me, added the mission, and a short inscription, all for his all too fair fee without adding any extra fee for the inscription I might add. If you are looking for something from him I think you will be more than happy with the experience. |
