[b]Arts & Community Center Gallery Exhibits Feature Varied Palette[/b] [i]Howard Koslow has been commissioned by the U. S. Mint and Jacques Cousteau. His paintings hang at the Pentagon.[/i] The Ocean County College Arts & Community Center Gallery, (Building #18), located on the OCC Main Campus, College Drive, Toms River, NJ, is proud to host artist Howard Koslow from May 9 to May 25. Admission to the Gallery is free. Koslow is an extraordinary artist who has been commissioned to create paintings for the U.S. Air Force Academy; National Air and Space Museum; NASA Art Gallery, Kennedy Space Center, and National Park Service. Koslow's previous projects for the U.S. Postal Service include eight 1940s "Celebrate the Century" stamps, four stamps featuring jazz/blues singers (1994), and all of the stamps in the "Lighthouses" series. All exhibits are subject to change. Please call ahead for updated opening/closing dates. The Ocean County College Gallery is normally open to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Saturdays (when classes are in session). Additionally, the Gallery will be open to the public when performances and events take place in the Arts & Community Center Theater. (Please check the theatre schedule for times and events.) Large groups planning to visit the Gallery are asked to make arrangements with the Director of the Arts & Community Center at least one week in advance.
