[b]Progress M-10M launched to the station[/b] Russia's Progress M-10M (P42) resupply craft launched Wednesday to replenish the International Space Station. Lifting off at 8:05 a.m. CDT (7:05 p.m. local time) from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, the unmanned craft will dock to the Pirs docking compartment Friday at 9:29 a.m. M-10M replaces Progress M-09M, which undocked last week and was deorbited Tuesday morning after engineering tests. The new Progress is loaded with 1,940 pounds of propellant, 110 pounds of oxygen and air, 926 pounds of water and 2,976 pounds of maintenance hardware, experiment equipment and resupply items.
