Weather scrubs first launch attempt High winds at Pad 39B and the risk of triboelectrification -- the chance of a static charge building up around the vehicle as it passes through high altitude clouds -- has forced NASA to scrub today's Ares I-X launch attempt after trying multiple times to find a hole in the weather over the course of the four-hour window.
