Official NASA Commemorative Frame Sets and Medallions

Celebrating the achievements, legacy, and completion of America's space shuttle program, Winco International is proud to offer these official commemoratives that were commissioned by NASA.

Celebrating the Space Shuttle Program #SSP-3500

A framed limited edition set featuring all 135 official space shuttle mission pins. Presented in chronological order, these pins provide an emblematic history of the program. They are exhibited on an exclusive collage created by Blake Dumesnil, who also designed NASA's official shuttle program commemorative emblem. This exquisite print also displays each pin's mission number, the orbiter flown, and the launch and landing dates.

Featured centerpiece: An edition-exclusive medallion is minted with metal ingots that were flown on a shuttle mission (this limited edition is oversized at 2 1/8" and shadow-boxed). The ingots were flown to mint official medallions to commemorate the space shuttle program and to honor those who made this program possible.

Two other commemorative emblems minted with metal from the flown ingots are also featured along with an edition-exclusive Space Shuttle Launch emblem (also shadow-boxed), and four other program-related emblems. A solid brass story plate is cut in the shape of the program's commemorative insiginia and is engraved with the individual edition number of each frame.

State of the art matte cutting delivers a visually enhanced five-level presentation for the 144 hand-mounted commemorative pins. 28.5" x 32.75". Limited to 3,500.

Retail: $895 || collectSPACE reader price: $595 (+S&H)

The Historic Space Shuttle Program #SSP-5000

A framed limited edition featuring an exclusive program medallion (shadow-boxed) and an STS-1 30th anniversary emblem. Both commemoratives are minted with metal from ingots that were flown on a shuttle mission.

To represent all 135 shuttle missions, the first (STS-1) and last (STS-135) official pins are featured. Also included is a mint condition Space Achievement block of stamps that were issued in 1981, the year of the first shuttle mission (the stamp block is presented with archival mounts).

NASA's insignia (the "meatball") is the signature emblem in this edition. The solid brass plate tells the story and is engraved with the individual edition number of each frame. State of the art matte cutting delivers a three level presentation for the hand-mounted commemoratives. 11.5" x 14". Limited to 5,000.

Retail: $89 || collectSPACE reader price: $62 (+S&H)

Space Shuttle and Constellation Program Medallions

The space shuttle NASA Award Medallion honors the accomplishments of those who played a role in making the shuttle possible. The Mission Complete medal depicts the shuttle at work and commemorates the completion of the program.

Both shuttle medals celebrate the winged spacecraft and the program's 30 years of innovation and service. These official medallions were minted with metal from the same ingots used for the framed editions that were flown on a shuttle mission. Each medallion features a full color embedded insert of the official Space Shuttle Program Commemorative insignia.

The Constellation Cx medallion, like the space shuttle commemoratives, honors the now-former NASA program. Commissioned by NASA, this medal was created with flown rocket metals from the Ares I-X and Orion Pad Abort-1 test flights.

Retail: $12.95 ea || collectSPACE reader price: $8.50 ea (+S&H)
