Section One: Astronaut Experiences
Lot 005: Classroom Visit and Talk with Astronaut Daniel Brandenstein

The ultimate show and tell! A veteran of four Space Shuttle missions and former chief of NASA's Astronaut Office, Dan Brandenstein will visit your son's or daughter's classroom to share his experiences in space.

Dan Brandenstein piloted one Space Shuttle mission and commanded three others, including the maiden flight of Endeavour. He currently is a vice president with Lockheed Martin Space Operations in Houston, Texas.

Brandenstein will prepare to speak for 30 to 45 minutes and then answer questions, based on the age of your child. His presentation may be accompanied by video if a VCR and/or projection system can be provided.

Before departing, Brandenstein will gift your child with an autograph personalized to him/her, pose for a photograph together, and give his/her classmates a mission emblem.

This lot is only applicable to a classroom appearance and must be within the continental United States.

Winning bid: $1050
