2. All bidders must be pre-registered.

3. Online bidding begins on August 20, 2007.

4. Online bidding ends at 4:00 p.m. CT August 30, 2007.

5. Each day online bidding is open, the top bid will be posted to the website, updated throughout the day (with date stamps noting the last update).

6. Online bids may only be placed by using the forms located on each lot's page. Currency is US. Bids reflect the amount that will be paid for the lot if you are identified as the highest bidder at the close of the auction.

7. Registered bidders may submit bids as many times as desired during the bidding period. The bids received with the closest date stamp up to but not exceeding 4 pm CT on August 30, 2007 will reflect your final bids.

8. The highest online bid will become the opening bid during the live silent auction on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at the Apollo Monument benefit dinner to be held in Houston, TX.

9. Your bid constitutes a contract to purchase the item on which it was placed. All winning bids are final. Please read all lot specifications and limitations carefully prior to making a bid. No refunds will be issued and winners are expected to make payment after notification by the SWoF.

10. The SWoF makes every attempt to accurately represent the items available for bid. If items are damaged in the process of shipping to the winning bidder, he/she should contact SWoF to assist in resolving the issue.

11. The SWoF reserves the right to remove items from the Silent Auction without notice.

12. Notification will be sent to winning bidders via e-mail with payment due within 30 days of receipt. Lots will not be released until payment has cleared. Shipping charges are the responsibility of the bidder.

13. Bidders failing to follow through on a winning bid after the initial notification will be contacted by the SWoF to schedule payment. If payment is still not forthcoming, bidding privileges for all future online and on-site auction programs conducted by the SWoF may be revoked. When a bidder fails to make payment and bidding privileges are revoked, the bidder with the next highest bid amount will be contacted by the SWoF to purchase the donated item.
